Choosing your size
Three cushion sizes (Small-Wide, Medium, Large) cover the width of the mouth and the distance under the nose. Three headgear sizes (Small, Standard, Large) cover head size. Most people fit a Medium cushion with Standard headgear. The printable fitting template included in the box, and available in our resources, lets you check cushion size before you order. Care and replacement
ResMed’s instructions: clean the cushion, elbow and short tube (including the vent) daily, and the frame and headgear weekly, in warm water with mild liquid detergent. The ComfiSoft cushion is hand-wash only; do not use a brush on it. Squeeze fabric parts to remove water and air dry out of direct sunlight. ResMed’s replacement guidance is a new cushion about every month, frame system about every three months and headgear about every six months; your own schedule can vary with use and insurance plan.

What is the difference between the AirTouch F40 and the AirFit F40?
The cushion. The AirTouch F40 uses a ComfiSoft fabric-fused silicone cushion; the AirFit F40 uses an all-silicone AdaptiSeal cushion. The frame, elbow, short tube and headgear are the same F40 platform, and the two cushions are interchangeable on the frame.
Do I need a prescription to buy the AirTouch F40 in Canada?

Can I wash the fabric cushion?
