Until now, oxygen concentrators have been very similar – heavy, bulky, noisy, or require frequent maintenance. But EverFlo from Respironics is a unique stationary concentrator that delivers the features patients deserve. The EverFlo design is lightweight, smaller and sleeker, and easy to store and transport.
The Everflo has a compact, ergonomic design takes up less space and looks less like a medical device. It is one of the quietest mainstream concentrators and is available with and without OPI (oxygen purity indicator).
So, it’s been about a year and a half since I purchased my Everflo. I’m a night time only user, so the machine only runs about 6 to 8 hours per night.
The very first thing I noticed after replacing my previous machine (you know – the big black one) is how much quieter the Everflo is. It’s light enough I can get it into the car for travel.
It holds its settings well and is easy to take care of.
